There is an excellent business planning publication from the International Federation of Accountants available on the web. The guide is filled with useful information for businesses. The guide contains a four page checklist for business--an excellent tool that business owners can use to assess their situation. The guide is called Information Paper: Business Planning Guide, Practical Application for SME's (small and medium enterprises). You can download this for free. When you get to the home page, type "Business Planning Guide" in the search window, and the information paper will come up.
